How To get the correct quote for repairing your damaged files at MP4repair.org

Most common claim we have from our customers is about the price of the repair of their damaged files. But usually the perception of those customers is simply wrong.

Let me explain it with an example. If you diagnose a single file in MP4repair.org you’ll get a quote for that file. But our pricing schema works based on number of files to be repaired, their format and its duration. For instance, if the format of the file is H.264 encoding, quote will start at $49 USD. Problem comes when the customer thinks that, if a single file will cost $49 USD and needs to repair 10 files, then total cost will be $49 x 10 = $490 USD !!!

Obviously that amount is not correct and that’s the main reason why we strongly recommend to add ALL the files you might need to repair into your cart. That way, quote will be automatically refreshed taking into account all the files (and not the single one initially diagnosed). Getting back to the example, repairing 10 files of H.264 format, with a estimated duration of 25 minutes, will cost $129 USD. As you can see, far away from the $490 initially guessed by the customer.

There’s another way to decrease the quote for repairing your damaged files. Imagine you’re only interested in a few seconds from a long damaged file. Usually you would need to repair the entire damaged file and afterwards trim it. But if you feel kind of techy, you can use any utility like HJ-Split to blindly trim your damaged file. That way file duration will be shortened and your quote will decrease!

Something similar happens when you’re already repairing your damaged files using the credentials provided and you realize that more files need to be repaired. There’s no need to RESET the tool and start over.
Instead, you can use the button and add those pending files to your cart. They will be automatically diagnosed and repaired in case same recording settings were used, saving time and money.

Finally, just allow us to remember that you can contact us at any time using the form present in all the stages of the repair process. Just place your message there and we’ll contact back to you to help you with any doubt you might have.
